The flooring for corporate entries in high-traffic areas has to meet several specific criteria. The flooring needs to be super durable to withstand the traffic and last a long time, budget-friendly, easy-to-clean, and it needs to look great and stay looking great.

We have plenty of products that would meet that criteria, and here are just a few that we would recommend.

1. Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT). LVT is another name for flooring made of PVC or polyvinyl chloride.

It’s very popular today because it’s extremely budget friendly and there is an unlimited number of colors and textures to choose from, many of which can mimic other more expensive or less practical flooring choices like marble.

The great benefit of LVT is that it’s laid in tiles. That means that it’s easy to repair damage by replacing one or more tiles. Laying tiles also means that complex designs are not difficult to create—like borders or geometric designs or color play.

2. Carpet Tiles. Carpet tile is just what it sounds like: carpeting that’s laid in tiles instead of from rolls.

Sometimes high-rise buildings may have rules that prohibit laying hard floors, in which case, carpet tiles are a great choice. Carpeting always makes an area feel warmer and more welcoming.

They are very hard wearing, and like LVT, they can be installed with different patterns and colors, and those tiles make them equally easy to repair. And definitely talk to us about the new Antron fiber carpet that is much easier to clean than previous fibers.

The installation of tiles instead of roll carpeting can also mean less waste and better ease of installation if there is already significant furniture in place. These things can all contribute to a lower overall cost.

3. Rubber. Rubber flooring is newer for office spaces, but it’s a renewable, green product, and it’s very durable.

Rubber flooring can look very attractive and trendy if you’re looking for something new and different. This type of floor is also very safe because it’s slightly softer than other floors, and it offers great traction.

There are a lot of different types of floors that would work well in a high-traffic, corporate entry. These are just three that are at the top of our list.
